Teacher of Biology – Silom Road, Bangkok

Essential Educational Staffing is looking for a qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic Science Teacher to become part of our successful and supportive company. Walking distance from BTS/MRT. Salary: 50,000 THB

The applicant must possess an understanding of teaching methodologies, with a particular emphasis on innovative strategies that actively engage and motivate students. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:40am to 4:00pm, involving approximately 18 to 20 teaching hours each week. Our partner school is situated near Silom Road in Bangkok, Thailand and is now open for interviews for this position. The Science Department at this school is well-known for its management and supportive atmosphere. The ideal candidate would start work in May 2026.

It is imperative that applicants bring prior experience in teaching science and are currently residing in Thailand. We are looking for individuals who are not just adept in their subject matter but also bring a passion for educational innovation and student engagement. Our aim is to create a learning environment that is both intellectually stimulating and supportive, enabling students to reach their full potential.

Experienced Biology Teacher in Classroom Setting - Bangkok

After school teaching will be available — teachers will have the opportunity to earn up to 5,000 THB extra per month depending on enrolments.

You must meet the following requirements for a visa or work permit:

Some teaching experience.
Any bachelor's degree.
TEFL or similar teaching qualification.
Should hold a valid passport from either Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States.
References and criminal background check.
Over 22 and below 60 years of age.
